Billy Blanks
William Wayne “Billy” Blanks, born September 1, 1955, in Erie, Pennsylvania, is a martial artist, fitness innovator, and actor. The fourth of fifteen children, he overcame physical challenges and became a world karate champion. Blanks created Tae Bo, a global fitness phenomenon blending martial arts and aerobics, and has trained U.S. Armed Forces while supporting charitable causes. In the mid-1980s, he appeared in action films, including Tango & Cash (1989) and The Last Boy Scout (1991), later starring in martial arts thrillers.
