Introduction
The materials on this site were designed as resources for family
literacy programs. Accordingly, we have included literacy materials
that are relevant for the four interdependent components of comprehensive
family literacy:
The content and strategies used in the Guides, Programs and Integrated Lesson Plans reflect current research findings concerning supporting children’s and adults’ literacy learning. The research basis for this approach is presented in this section, as are the specific instructional objectives derived from this research.
